Trinity School
FOCUS:
Brave curiosity and diligent effort
Trinity School, originally founded as a charity school in 1709 still maintains a strong tradition of philanthropy and volunteering. Set in the heart of New York, the school embraces all the city has to offer and engagement with the community and wider world is fostered via programmes such as Global Engagement. Their liberal arts education offers courses from rhetoric and digital story telling to biomechanics and bioethics, encouraging pupils to wrestle with complex ideas whether on the stage, in the lab, on the playing fields or in the classroom. At the heart of the school is the relationship between pupils and the teachers who are called to ‘challenge the minds and fire the imaginations’ of the young people in their care.
