The Collegiate school

FOCUS:
Sharing ideas with civility and camaderie
At Collegiate, boys are encouraged to ‘be themselves’; a bespoke social-emotional curriculum celebrates authentic relationships and the knowledge there are many ways to be a ‘boy’ and in turn, a man. Founded in 1628, the school prides itself on being ‘old but not old fashioned’ and their move in 2018 to a purpose built campus on Freedom Place, certainly supports this. It not only gives access to state of the art facilities but also ensures a sense of community with pupils of all ages in the same building. The rigorous liberal arts programme is supported by a plethora of clubs and societies to educate and develop ‘citizens who act with conscience, courage and compassion’.
