EXPLAINATION

Highly academically selective, Westminster is a school that demands intellectual risk taking with pupils are encouraged to read, question and challenge in spirit of openminded enquiry; they learn for the sake of learning not merely to pass exams.  Unsurprisingly, results are outstanding, with over 50% securing Oxbridge/Ivy League places in most years. A recent announcement to go co-ed now ensures that these opportunities will now be available to girls from 13+, joining their 6th form counterparts. Located in the precincts of Westminster Abbey, the school retains a sense of history and tradition, still inhabiting some of its original medieval buildings.  Alma mater to six prime ministers, as well actors, musicians and tech entrepreneurs.
