EXPLAINATION

As one of the first schools to adopt the IB programme for 6th form, Sevenoaks remains one of the top performing IB schools globally with over 50% of pupils regularly scoring higher than 40.  The school has always pioneered an international approach with a very global recruitment policy, welcoming the diversity and cultural perspectives of pupils from across the world.  Although boarders form about 30% of the school, Sevenoaks has the feel of a full boarding school with its busy and purposeful environment, however, a reduced homework load gives pupils more time to be young.  Close to London, the leafy 100 acre campus offers excellent sporting facilities and an extensive performing arts space.
