EXPLAINATION

Set in Victorian buildings amidst 800-acres of Oxfordshire countryside Radley College is one of the few boarding schools that remains all boys, passionately advocating that a single sex education offers the chance to be ambitious, adventurous and develop a strong sense of integrity and the core value of ‘doing what is right’ and being of ‘good character’. As a full boarding school, pupils are immersed in community as part of their “Social” (boarding house) and smaller tutor groups. Engagement with a wider issues is initiated in programmes like the ‘Provocateur-in-Residence’ programme, where a distinguished figure leads as week of talks, seminars, and debates.  Extra-curricular activities cater for all interests with regular drama productions, a strong tradition of music and an elite sports programme for top athletes.
