EXPLAINATION

This is a unique school with a global outlook, located in the heart of rural England. Nestling in the picturesque countryside of Shropshire Concord College attracts both boarders (85%) from across the world and local day pupils, all drawn by the strong emphasis on academic excellence.  There is a definite bias towards STEM subjects, and this is reflected in the 21 science laboratories on site and the outstanding A level results year on year.  The diversity of the pupil body means that the sporting focus is more on basketball and golf rather than the more traditional rugby and cricket. There is no school uniform and the overall feel is that of a small university campus.
