Raffles Institution

FOCUS:
Opportunities for all
Founded in 1823, Raffles Institution is Singapore’s oldest school. Located in the bustling city centre, this prestigious establishment blends its rich history with a dynamic campus culture and modern educational practices. Highly able pupils flourish here with boys up to Year 4 and then girls for Years 5-6. The Integrated Programme cultivates critical thinking and creativity, and gives them a fast track academic pathway through to A Levels. Whilst the academics are a given, what sets RI apart is their strong emphasis on character development, leadership, and community service, this is supported with the numerous co-curricular activities on offer, encouraging pupils to engage in the arts, sports, and volunteerism. With such talented thinkers, it is no surprise they top the league tables for entry into the most academically elite universities.
