Pembroke House (Kenya)

FOCUS:
Bringing out the best in every child
Located in Gilgil, in the scenic Great Rift Valley, Pembroke House School is an idyllic setting for learning and adventure. Founded in 1927, it offers a very traditional British prep school experience and continues to prepare their charismatic and characterful pupils for Common Entrance exams to prestigious British public schools. These politely confident children are equally at home in a classroom, on a sports pitch, safari camping or taking part in one of the 380 activities on offer each week. Quirky traditions such as the all night dinky car race, the annual ‘Mud Run’ and the ‘Conquer the Ridge’ challenge are integral to the ethos of the school. Pembroke children are taught that courage, good manners, kindness and always trying to do your best is the way to succeed in life.
