Rooted in the motto “From Culture comes Strength” Cranleigh Abu Dhabi has taken the DNA and heritage of its UK parent school and successfully blended it with the rich culture of the Emirates and other nationalities educated at the school. Sitting at the heart of Saddiyat Island, culture also plays a key part in its location within sight of the Louvre and soon to be opened Guggenheim and Sheikh Zayed museums. Recognising the importance of preparing children beyond the academics, they have built a ‘skills’ based curriculum around the rigorous academic requirements of the British system. They have retained their dedication to pupil wellbeing (Head), sustainability (Heart), and community outreach (Hands). Despite recent changes in ownership and leadership, the school seems committed to preserving the high standards of its sister school.
