EXPLAINATION

Founded in 2007 by the family of shipping magnate Yue Kong Pao, YK Pao School aims to combine the best of Western and Chinese education in a ‘not for profit’ model.   Inspired by US/UK boarding-style education,and blending international curricula with elements of Shanghai education system, YK Pao has risen rapidly to become one of the top-ranked international schools in China an recently opened a third campus in the city.  The Chinese-English bilingual immersion programme and the Culture programme sets pupils up to succeed in an international environment by educating pupils to respect different cultures and become global citizens and future leaders, rooted in a strong value system, grounded in academic excellence.
