Tanglin Trust School, Singapore
Tanglin has been popular with expats in Singapore ever since its foundation in 1925. Now approaching its centenary, it educates over 50 different nationalities across the Tanglin Trust and the ‘school within school model’ and the pastoral ‘house system’ gives the feel of a much smaller learning environment. Tanglin has definitely moved with the times and the ‘Tech’ is impressive, with 3 D printers, lego robotics and a recently added Mac film and media department, which boasts a film studio with green screen. The school regularly exceeds global averages for both IB and A level results and has been awarded international school of the year as well as being rated outstanding by BSO.
