EXPLAINATION

Lakefield College is a school that believes experience to be the best teacher, and at their lakeside campus in rural Ontario there are a multitude of amazing experiences on offer, including canoeing, ropes training, wilderness survival skills, snowshoeing and equestrian pursuits. With regard to academics, a huge range of subject choices is offered across the Canadian and AP curriculum. Predominantly boarding (71%), and with 26% of the student body international, the school has educated European royalty, musicians, actors, writers and political and environmental activists and, with its well-developed leadership programme and the Duke of Edinburgh scheme it will continue to turn out students who are “good, caring people equipped to do amazing things”.
