EXPLAINATION

A longstanding feature of the education landscape in Dubai, and part of the GEMS group of schools, the non-selective Jumeirah College gives even the most academic Dubai schools a run for their money. The High-Performance learning programme establishes high standards of teaching, along with high expectations of the pupils, but just as important is pupils’ social, physical and emotional well-being with everyone encouraged to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities ranging from D of E, to debating and chess. The school has been ranked as ‘outstanding’ for almost a decade, and in the last four years has sent pupils to 1050 universities in 53 countries, including 66 of the world’s top 100 universities.
